How to remove a console from the Xbox App - Remote Play lists consoles I don't own

Is there a way that you can connect your laptop through wired connection because videos issue during remote play is caused by unstable internet connection? Does anyone other than you trying to play remotely your Xbox console because only one person at a time can play remotely the device even if others are set up to connect remotely or locally.

On the other hand, try to go over with the proper set up on how to remote play your Xbox console using your Windows device. You can try removing the console from Xbox app in your PC and add the console again.

On Windows device:

• Open the Xbox app for PC.
  
• Click on your profile picture and select View profile.
  
• Under Where I play, select Remove console option and follow the steps shown then try to add the console again.

I have similar issue.

What doesn't work:

• Remote Control from Standy On : Cannot touch Xbox button or Turn On Console to truly power on the console.
  
• Remote Play from Standby On: Cannot connect to the console, even though the router can find the console connected to network, can ping to the console through router console.
  
• Game management: cannot install or uninstall games
  

What does work:

• Change console name: using Xbox app to change console name, the updated name reflects on Xbox app Beta, Xbox Game Streaming (Test app) for PC. This means the apps still be able to connect to the console, sending signal to the console.
  
• Remote play when Powered on: remote play/console streaming feature can be used only and if only the console is turn on, with the Xbox button on console lighted on. Work on both External and internal networks => not related to NAT(Open type) or Remote settings because all testings give green status. ==> However, having the console turn on directly in-home or having someone at home to turn on the console for me is not the point of remote play. The console is supposed to be turn on in background for remote play from External network!
  

This issue should be fixed before anything else!

Sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately, at this point, there's no way to remotely configure your console for remote play unless someone is willing to do so for this for you.

To help prevent this from happening, its always best to ensure that your Xbox app is up to date and your console is listed under Console list on the app.

I'm having similar problems. Remote play is not working but I think the app can comunciate with the console because I see the library and I can change the name of the console in the app.

If I rename the Xbox console on the Xbox settings, remote playing starts working. But after a few hours, the problem again.

Another problem I have is with the remote controller of the app and with the connection from digital assistants. Remote conroller and digital assistants don't work until I change the xbox name on the xbox settings.

Thank you for reaching out to the Xbox forums. We understand you are experiencing issues connecting via remote play to your Xbox console with your iOS device. Let's try to resolve your issue. We may end up suggesting things you have tried previously, but it's always good to double check.

First, make sure your console is not set to fully power off.

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
   
2. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.
   
3. Select the Enable remote features checkbox.
   
4. Under Sleep mode, select Standby.
   

Note If your console power mode isn’t set to Standby, remote play won’t work.

On your mobile device:

1. Open the Xbox mobile app.
   
2. Select the My Library icon and select Consoles.
   
3. Select the console you want to connect to and then press Remote play on this device.
   

Try removing your console from the mobile app, power cycling the console and try connecting to it again. It's also a good idea to make sure both your console and mobile device is updated to the latest update.
