How to reinstall\recover the original installation of the Xbox App?

A few files got deleted by mistake and now the app doesn't start, how do I download it again from scratch? Uninstall returns that message box informing me it wasn't possible, repairing doesn't do anything and reset also returns that little message in read saying it didn't work. The installer stays stuck, as shown in the image.

Well, if nothing is working and if you already tried each option advised above.

The next step will be perform a custom installation for your windows system.
You can recover personal files, but you may need to reinstall some apps (mostly the Microsoft store / Xbox apps )

That's odd... If you're not able to start windows in safe mode the next step will be do a custom install for your windows system (you can recover the personal files later, but you need to reinstall apps)

Hello There ! Uninstalling and reinstalling the game might help. - Uninstall and reinstall the game, the reinstall should be a 1 GB file. The update then should be 100 GB

- Rename the Directory where MSFS is installed (for me it's C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe), then click Uninstall in the xBox App, Change the install Dir back to original name, then click Install in the xBox App. It should take just over 2 minutes from start to finish.
