how to register my elite v2 controler ?

1. Visit the Devices section of your Microsoft Account here: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/

2. Select Register Your Device at top right of the page.

3. Open the battery compartment of your Xbox controller and find the serial number. It should be at the bottom of the compartment under a barcode.

4. In the pop up, enter the serial number, accept the privacy agreement, and select confirm.

After registering your controller, you should see it appear under your device. This is where you can see the warranty information and start a service request. Register your controller with it’s serial at the link below: my controller shows that the warranty ends a year after the purchase date. Im beyond 90 days and microsodt is still replacing my broken elite V2’s

elite controller v2 I have v1 but I want the v2

The white Elite controller is not an Elite V2, just a minor revision with new color.

ive heard a lot of faults with the controller which is why i stuck with my v1 elite controller and havent bought the v2
