    How to regain access to Xbox 360 and Xbox One


    For a number of years I have had my signons and one gamertag and I could sign into Microsoft and Xbox. I can still sign into Microsoft but when I try to signin to either Xbox 360 or Xbox one it tells me to use my Microsoft password but when I use it it
    tells me it is wrong and to use My Microsoft password.

    I went to use my gametag and it was changed to a new one by Microsoft/Xbox and that apparently means no access to many games even if I could get into Xbox 360 or Xbox One!!!

    I think the problem(s) could be fixed if I could talk to a support person but there does not appear to be a way to do so!!!! Every possible avenue resulted in a "no phone support" message for every variation of the Problem(s) I could think of!!!

    I am about ready to seek a refund of my subscription to Xbox live, throw away the Xboxes and decide not to buy the new Xbox!!!!!

    Support service is pathetic.

    Yeah, you'll regain access to them when you renew.

    However, do note that this change in the programme only affects Xbox One, and the Xbox 360 programme will continue working in the same way as previously (content ownership, can play when the membership lapses).

    If your Xbox Live Gold subscription has passed, then you no longer have access to the Xbox One titles that you 'redeemed' as part of Games with Gold. The Xbox 360 titles should still be yours to keep though. But the Xbox One games were effectively rented
    for the duration of your Xbox Live Gold membership. I think you should be able to regain access to those titles if/when you renew a Gold member or get Game Pass Ultimate.

    Unfortunately when you let your Gold subscription lapse you lose access to any XBox One GWG titles you may have downloaded. 360 titles you get to keep regardless of account status.

    If you restart your gold subscription you will regain access to all your GWG titles.

    So are you telling me that it will be literally impossible for me to access my account on xbox.com, or change my xbox's security settings, or recover my account on another xbox 360 or possibly in the future transfer my account to an xbox one? As I've already
    stated, I do not care about recovering access to the microsoft account. I just want to regain control of my xbox live gamertag and all of the services associated with it.
