How to redownload Xbox 360 profile on Xbox One?

Thanks for your reply and for your time. I have resolved the issue and am now able to access my Xbox live account via my Xbox one, so I can now play my backward compatibility games.

The fix was as simple as this: I initially did a reset of my Xbox one console and chose to ‘keep my games and apps on the console’. The Xbox One games worked fine, but the 360 games became an issue. I decided to do a full factory reset of the system, wiping all my games and info from the console. Once it finished, I logged back into my account, put in an Xbox 360 game and let it install. As soon as it installed, my Xbox one re-synced to Xbox live when I started the application.

Resetting the console and keeping the games and apps on the system must have corrupted a file or created a disconnect within my profile. It’s all resolved now.

Recently, many players have been experiencing issues with Xbox Live on Xbox 360 consoles and with backward-compatible Xbox 360 games on Xbox One/Series due to a problem with Xbox servers. Yesterday, they officially announced the issue and stated that it had been resolved. However, I have noticed that many players are still encountering problems. Therefore, it is possible that this is related to the general outage and not to your console, profile or internet connection.

I recommend waiting for a while to see if Xbox makes any announcements regarding this problem so they can resolve it. As I mentioned earlier, many players are still having trouble connecting to Xbox Live on Xbox 360, and it's likely a server issue once again.

Likewise, you could also help by reporting the issue through the following website:

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

On the right side of the website, under "Report a service outage," click on "Report" and fill out the requested information. This way, Xbox can become aware more quickly that there are still ongoing issues.

something on the profile on the xbox 360 seems to have corrupted. Since all is shown correctly on xbox.com the thing to do is to delete your profile (profile only) on the xbox 360 and redownload it.

If you only delete the profile, that won't affect any save games etc.
