how to redeem prepaid codes on the xbox one dashboard.

with the new dashboard update, the location to redeem code is no longer in the same area or if it is i can't seem to find it.

the support page for this has not been updated to show the location of it on the new dashboard.

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

i have been on with a liveperson chat for over ten minutes with them trying to tell me where it is now.

i miss how on the 360 you could just hit the guide button and you could find it right there.

so far we have checked settings under payment and billing, they are trying to tell me the 360 way to do it. OMG this live chat person is a failure. going to test the phone person.

 

Go to the store and browse for games. On the top you will see a menu and on the far right is the option to use a code.

 

here is the location:

on the new dashboard

select STORE

then GAMES

then BROWSE ALL GAMES

at the top menu on the far right is USE A CODE

there you will find the enter the 25-character code option.
