How to Recover a Microsoft Account that is not Recognized?

I believe that my Microsoft account has been compromised within the last week. I have noticed this after trying to login to my Minecraft account that I have used since April of 2014. I have used my Minecraft account for nearly 10 years without issue, but I found out today that I am unable to login to the linked Microsoft account.

When trying to follow the recovery form, I receive the following errors:

Account blocked

We have detected that your account is blocked due to multiple incorrect password attempts.

Try entering your Microsoft account again. We don't recognize this one.

The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist.

I am certain that email I am entering is the correct one that existed and it appears that Microsoft first detects that it existed, but then claims to not be able to find it.

Here are my current steps that I have followed:

I first went to the Microsoft support page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...tUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=S.HP.SMC-HOME) and entered "How to recover a hacked Microsoft account." I then followed the Sign-In helper steps, where I entered my email address and received error 1.

After that, I continued on to Begin Password reset, where upon entering the email address, I received error 2.

I then continued on and the sign-in helper eventually led me to the account recovery form (https://account.live.com/acsr). Upon entering the email address, I encountered error 3.

I feel that error 1 and errors 2/3 are contradicting each other. If my account is blocked due to multiple incorrect password attempts, how can it not exist?

I feel as if I have tried everything to resolve this issue, but to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated (especially if there is a way to contact a real person!)

In that case, to contact Xbox Support Live Chat regarding your account recovery, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the Xbox Support website: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/contact-us/

2. Click on the "Contact Us" button on the right of the screen.

3. Select the issue you need help with and click on the "Next" option.

4. Sign in to your Microsoft account. (sign in to a different account if your main account didn't work.)

5. Follow the prompts to connect to a live chat agent.

Hey, thank you for the quick response.

I have tried both of those options.

The first form, gave me an automated response that they could not find my account in the system, which is the same contradiction from my earlier errors 1 vs 2/3.

The second link eventually redirects me to the account recovery form, where I have ran into the same issue of it claiming that my account doesn't exist, despite knowing with certainty that it did exist.

I feel like Microsoft isn't counting for this contradiction still. Also, it would still be great to be able to talk to a real person if at all possible.

At the end of the day, I don't care too much about recovering the Microsoft account itself, I would just like access to my Minecraft account (which is unfortunately linked to this Microsoft account). If there is a way to re-gain access to my Minecraft account in any way, that would be greatly appreciated.
