[/quote]As in, $180 USD. I use the same thing and I don't really regret the purchase. It records @ 1280x720/60fps. You have to use component cables however. Not like it really matters though... There's nearly no games at all that even run at a native 1920x1080
and half the games out for the 360 even manage a native 1280x720. That's being generous of course. It's probably less.

I run my Xbox through a recordable DVD player, it put's it on a disk then i can use my PC to do what i want with the content.

I have heard of people using PVR havent researched much into them. Any brands I should check out?

I might look into getting the HDD PVR option. I looked at the Hauppauge, but not sure about that. I would be streaming it to my server, but still. Thanks for the advise.

Also, are you running a PC or a Mac? If you're on a Mac the software used to record for the HD PVR won't work on the Mac, sadly.

You'll have to purchase a third party software that supports Mac. I heard EyeTV (I think it's called that? It's something like that.) runs around $60 USD, so I'm sure if you're willing to pay for the HD PVR you'll pay for the software.
