I can't seem to figure it out or find answer online.

Do I have to re-paid it with my PC every time I turn on Bluetooth and the controller?

PS: like Dualshock4 reconnects to my PC automatically when I just turn the controller on.

    :)

How to reconnect Xbox One Controller to PC via Bluetooth after it was paired and turned off previously?

Happen to find an answer on reddit which helped me:

    - I installed "Xbox Accessories" app from Microsoft Store and now my controller automatically pairs with my PC when both are turned on!

How to reconnect Xbox One Controller to PC via Bluetooth after it was paired and turned off previously?

    Hi,

Normally your controller should connect automatically again once paired, even if the controller goes off or you turn off your PC. It won't pair automatically if you connect it to your PC via USB, it will need to be paired again.

Which means either your controller has a fault or it isn't playing well with your device's Bluetooth controller.

So how do you switch your elite controller back and forth from different devices to windows 10?

Hi ViperMagma, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

The Xbox Wireless Controller that comes with Xbox Series X|S includes a feature that allows for quickly switching between a paired Bluetooth device and an Xbox console. If the controller is connected to a Bluetooth device, double-press the Pair button, and the controller will immediately switch its connection to the last Xbox console it was paired to. Then, to switch back to the paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the Pair button to start pairing mode. The controller will automatically connect to the Bluetooth device you were just using while it also searches for new devices – just in case you want to connect a different Bluetooth device or Xbox. If it doesn’t find a new device nearby in pairing mode, it will remain connected to the previous Bluetooth device.

As of the moment, the said feature is not yet available on Xbox Elite Series 2. But what I always do is make sure that when you turn on your devices such as PC or Laptop, the Bluetooth is turned off then turn the controller on first before turning on the Bluetooth for it to automatically reconnect.

My xbox elite series 2 core controller is not getting into Bluetooth pairing mode. What should I do?

Please ensure you are following Xbox Support's steps to pair the controller: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/connect-xbox-wireless-controller-to-pc

To pair an Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC via Bluetooth:

Turn on your Xbox Wireless Controller by pressing the Xbox button.

Press and hold the Pair button on your controller for three seconds (the Xbox button will start flashing rapidly).

On your PC, press the Start button, then choose Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices (on Windows 11: Settings > Bluetooth & devices).

Turn on Bluetooth. Select Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth (on Windows 11: Add device). Your PC will begin searching for your controller.

Select Xbox Elite Wireless Controller > Done.

If it's still not going into pairing mode, try holding the Pair button for longer than 3 seconds.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Xbox One Wireless Controller Cannot Connect via Bluetooth to Surface Pro 4 (with Win10 Anniversary Update)

Here's the TL;DR of how to fix it: Your PC isn’t discovering your Bluetooth Xbox One controller no matter what you try? It isn’t appearing?

    Update the controller
    :

    1. Download “Xbox Accessories” from Windows 10 store.
    2. Open the App.

    3. Plug in your Xbox One controller to PC via USB.

    4. It should say “Update required”, click that, wait for it to update.

    5. When it’s done updating, unplug the controller from your PC. Turn it off and back on and go to pair it in your PC’s Bluetooth Options > Add A Device > Bluetooth (click the seek
button on your Xbox Controller so that it searches for your PC). It should pop up there now, simply pair it and you’re set, cheers!

    Hope this helps guys!
