    My xbox one has died - hard drive failure. I have ordered and paid for a replacement unit (invoice received). The shipping label has not been supplied (yes I've checked my junk mail folder). I can't request the label be resent as the site has the service
    request in the status of 'Your package is on its way to us' (I don't know why). I have been in an endless loop on the support website with the auto attendant and can find no way to open a chat with a human being
    who might actually be able to assist. I tried emailing xbox customer support and got the typical message about it being unmonitored. So much for caring about customers.

    Any recommendations?

    How to get a human at Microsoft for billing issues and help?

    The Microsoft Contact Us link is useless. I need Xbox billing help, Xbox customer support number no longer works and they direct you to the website. The website gives an option to talk online chat with a human but it times out. The same with regular Microsoft
    chat support. Is there ANY way to get a human being online or on the phone? There aren't even any options for them to contact me, or for me to even fill out a form to get help.

    Can anyone point me to a direction to get help?

    You say your ordered and paid for a replacement. Was this an advance exchange? If so then you will get the replacement console first then pack up your old console with the included shipping label.

    If you need to send yours in first and do not have a shipping label to print (be sure to check the junk/spam folder for the email associated with your account) then you can speak directly to Xbox by filling out the call back request form at
    support.xbox.com/contact-us or by going into the chat feature and requesting to speak with Xbox about your return.

    Thanks everyone for the comments. Finally received an email with instruction to get my shipping label overnight. I had assumed this process would be automated and swift, and surprised it took days, but hopefully the next steps will be smooth.

    You can still contact a human via chat. Not an ambassador, but an actual employee. You just can’t call them anymore.

    Choose Xbox One, then no thanks to the virtual help, then select "security". You will then be presented with the option to speak to an MS agent.

    Hope this helps.

  12. Ah, so it is in fact a 'trick' to get to chat with a human. I have to know that I must pretend to have a Security related issue/question in order for that option to be presented.
