    How to re sync wireless controller


    I have just recently bought a series X Xbox one and my Internet went out last night in the middle of the game. I tried to reconnect my controller, but I had to reconnect to sync button and it won’t work. The only way I can play a game is my core connected to my Xbox box and that is a C type of cord that is. Can some please help

    Hi,

    So your controller never reconnects when you turn it off and on when on with Bluetooth?

    The re-sync after charging is how the controller is meant to work, it's not a fault. Pretty sure this is down to the support of the gaming receiver peripheral which uses its own wireless protocol.

    For example, connecting via wire on console automatically syncs for wireless. The same would be true for PC.

    When you plug the controller in with USB it erases the last pairing done with wireless and bluetooth syncing with the controller.

    This is intended activity and you must re-sync the controller once you are done with connecting with the USB cable.
