    I've since posted again - and again, no response.

    How does one raise a complaint with XBoxLive when the only people to complain to do not respond?

    How do I make a complaint

    Basically I've had an issue with xbox live services, and microsoft's support system endlessly loops me back to their support agents who do not have authority over xbox live, and therefore cannot raise my complaint any higher than themselves. Any one know
    how I can raise my complaint, or have any contact points in which I can do so?

    how do i make a complaint and get it noticed

    yip just packed it all up and took it to the store and nope they will not take it back tried making a fuss and being louder but nope so im basically gonna have to send to ms for them to attempt a repair.

    it really bugs me though that I cant actually make a complaint to ms as they don't give a dam oh well I guess this is what happens to the small people

    What was the length of the suspension?

    All the info you needed to know should have been in the email you received informing you of the ban.

    There is no right of appeal or complaints process, the forum is there for info only.

    No, the emails are generic, only partially informative - no specific examples are provided, nor the degree of transgression.

    Further, no indication of how deep a review they make, so no idea if it was a single complaint, or multiple from a bunch of grief-ers, or from some other source.

    I was not appealing - I acknowledged the suspension and accepted it.

    That does not excuse waiting 7+ days and still getting no response (esp. as several other posts have been responded to from the same day and days following).

    I even posted a few days after asking what a typical wait time was - again, no response (and still others got responded to).

    All in all, I think it's pretty disgusting.

    Thus why I want to know what steps I can take to raise a complaint and get it escalated.

  6. Questions about bans of a short period are usually not answered, it used to be the 24 hour ones they may have increased it.

    If you don`t get a response within a few hours, you will never get one.

    It takes only one report to possibly get a ban.

    No specifics are ever given in the emails, just a general cause for the ban.

    Most people know full well what they did, and usually call of duty is involved.

    And do you know how I can escalate this?

    I've tried lodging concerns with support ... but I get the impression that the PET are basically in their own little world, and get away with ignoring posts.

    You are basically wasting your time, they will be covered from all angles.

    The forum is there just to repeat the info you are given in your email, and short term bans tend to get no response.

    I personally don`t know why the forum is there, when there is no right to appeal or complaint, and you have already been given the reason on your email.

    Phone support will not help you, its a different department.

    What if a mod tells you to send a PM for any questions during a suspension? (just kidding)

    You can contact the advocasy team but, most likely Owen is correct about being a waste of time

    Since the suspension has passed, why not use that account to post with?

    Advocasy team? What (and where) are they?

    I know the general support department cannot help directly - but I'm hoping to get the complaints noticed so someone can go look at the PET. There's a whole bunch of issues and improvements that could be implemented ... aside from training in manners How to raise a complaint - and - get it responded too? :D

    Okay, so it took several attempts, but I think I successfully flagged a complaint about the XBLPET through the general Support department.

    They (Support) even rang to confirm the complaint was being looked at, and to give an update on the situation with the PET department.

    All in all, it's still a joke - it's taken around 3 weeks to be heard and acknowledged.

    You'd have thought there'd been enough complaints about the PET that there would be a little faster action than that How to raise a complaint - and - get it responded too? :(

    No offence, but I get the impression you are not really here to help, nor do you actually read other peoples posts (I responded to your previous post, asking about the advocacy team you mentioned - and you didn't bother replying about that).

    Yes - they rang me. In the small hours of the morning (they are US, I'm UK).

    It was Christine, and she was dealing with it after AJ (Manager) had passed it along and sideways etc.

    No, not kidding (Why would I be bothering to post as a joke?).

    If you had read the Original post, and subsequent ones - you wouldn't be asking, would you!.

    The Exact issue is damned poor service, poor conduct, poor communication etc. I pay for Live, that includes the PET. Their FAQs make mention of possible delays (1 day or so). It makes no mention of going ignored for weeks on end, nor does it mention that
    some posts may not be acknowledged.

    No lived posts. No responses to posts. No private messages. No emails.

    That's to the original posts inquiring about the suspension (21 days ago), then a post inquiring about typical wait times (15+ days ago), then a post pointing out some issues with the FAQs/Forum format etc. (10+ days ago). Numerous other posts have been
    made and responded to in the Forums between each.

    I also made a recent post regarding a specific player on XBL, and got an email response.

    1 out of 4 - that's a pathetic ratio.

    No confusion on my end at all BongKaos.

    All of that clear now? I assume, as you specifically asked for details, you will read the response (as you appear to have missed the other posts above explaining the issue(s).

    (And yes, more than a little aggressive - then again, considering the the issues getting people that work at XB to actually pick up the complaint and start acting on it - the last thing I need is someone in a support forum not bothering to read things through,
    nor followup on replies. With that in mind, if you don't like it, I don't blame you - simply don't bother replying, and save us both some time!)
