How to put parental controls onto an account without deleting it?

I cannot join my dads 'family' on Microsoft so he cannot put controls on the Xbox. It says that I am an adult, not a child, so I cant be controlled. Please tell me how controls can be put on it without the account being deleted. Also, I would like a method
of doing this without my father having to know my password. This was so much easier on Xbox 360, please do an update where, it goes back to 360 family controls! (but leave the timer out)

How do I add to the exceptions list?!?!

You should be able to set the parental controls with each Xbox Live account. I never really used parental controls or anything like that but I do know that you should be able to set the controls with every account. It also should have asked you to put the
game or whatever onto the "exception list" when you put in the pass code. Hope this helps, and you have a great day.

Hey Renoom. To add onto what Vibroplex said, if everyone wants there own account, or wants to play simultaneously, everyone would need there own Xbox LIVE account, or you could just have one family account, that everyone shares.

In order for your Dad to add you to the family, you will have to have your Dad do it by going to the link below and clicking on "Add another adult first instead"
