How to put out a backward compatibility request?

I recently found out that since Xbox Series X is out, Microsoft are doing backwards compatible games again, but i have no idea if i have to do something particular or just send them an email?

No announcements have been made that it is resuming. They’re working on Xbox One compatibility and enhancement right now

Do not count on it ever resuming, be happy if it does

You can let publishers/developers know you're interested in their games becoming compatible, but there's no way to request games.

Microsoft is basically ending backwards compatibility, at least making games backwards compatible either permanently or temporarily to actually focus on Project Scarlett. However, backwards compatibility may return by fan request and eventually once the
system is out they'll get back to work on it. As it stands probably every game that is currently backwards compatible plus every single Xbox One game will be available to play on the new console. It will without a doubt have backwards compatibility support,
probably at either a greater degree or some lesser extent with a skeleton crew putting out a few titles here and there.

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. At this time, Xbox is no longer taking suggestions for the list of backwards compatible games. The games that are listed on our

360 Backward Compatible Available Games list are the only ones that we have currently. The only way at this time to request your games for backwards compatibility is to contact the developer of the games directly and request that they do so.
