    How to purchase MS points?


    Guys I need some help. I'm new to this, I'm trying to buy some MS points to be able to download some of the game contents. I'm logged in to my account but can't find an option to by points anywhere on the website. What am I overlooking? Thanks in advance!

    Why can't I use my MS account balance?!?

    Yes, I was trying to make the purchase on the website. How am I supposed to know that I can't use my MS account balance on the website? Not everyone stalks the forums before making a purchase!

    The website was more than happy to accept the prepaid code!

    If I can't make purchases on the website with my MS account balance, it should

    #1 - clearly state that I can't use MS account balance to pay for purchases via website

    AND

    #2 - it shouldn't accept the prepaid card code on the website!

    Now how do I use the MS account balance?

    no, you are not overlooking anything, MS Point dont exist anymore.

    instead Microsoft is using local currency gift Cards, you can get them in mostly every store where you can purchase xbox, or you can recieve an online code by Amazon. enter it either on xbox.com or on your console, then you are ready for marketplace - but
    you can currently use local currency only via console marketplace, browser wont allow purchase that way.

    Your gonna most likely need to get a prepaid visa from walmart, I tried for almost two months to use my debit card, relatives credit card, ect ect, finally a friend of mine let me use his prepaid visa card from walmart and worked right away. There has been
    a MAJOR bug in the billing system for this, for quite a while. I spent ridiculous amounts of time on the phone with tech support ect trying to solve, they couldnt fix either. Called card companies they weren't blocking ect. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE just
    get a prepaid card.
