How to play with friends on xbox X/S

Hi. I bought gta v premium and gta v online along with the series X/S edition and i only use the gta v online one and i cant see my friends levels or anything. When i tried playing with a friend it told me to download gta v and it did the same for them. Is there something im missing because i have the next gen version due to the vehicles and resprays. Is there something missing because its kinda annoying at this point.

Hi Aman!

Make sure to enable cross-play in your game.

Go to FIFA 22’s main menu.
Press RT on Xbox One, Series X|S.
Go to the Friends tab.
If you do not have your friend, add them:
Press Y on Xbox One, Series X|S.
Write your friend’s Xbox Live Gamertag.
Highlight any name on the list
Press X on Xbox One, Series X|S.
Pick the Enable Cross-Play option.

To set your expectation, the game's cross-play may be limited to Online Seasons and Online Friendlies modes only.

If you still can't play the game with your friends. It will only mean you aren't on the same copy as them. Check both copies and see if you can join them on one.

If your friends are playing the Xbox One version, then you all need to be playing that version to be able to play with each other.

Hi. I wasnt able to download the premium version but i was able to download the next gen online version. But now i have 2 gta v's downloaded. The full game and just the gta v online for next gen xbox.
