How exactly do I play xbox games on a Xbox 360 though? ..I can't get it to work. I have a lot of old Xbox games and only one 360 game(gta iv) but I can't seem to get them to play on my 360...they're on the compatibility list and I've updated my 360.

I bought an official old xbox game named Alien versus predator extinction and I am trying to play it on my xbox360

but the error message tells me to "download " the game again or contact xbox page .

well I want to know how can I play this old game on my xbox 360

please any help will be appreciated .

My other alternative is to buy the old console to play this game

Keeping my 360 to play older games and to keep as a collectible

I love playing the older titles on my Xbox One. I know they are working on an emulator and hope they make it to where you can play original Xbox and 360 games. That would be awesome!

You need to decide wether you are happy playing older games on the 360 or if you will want to play new games only available on the xbox one.

Personally now that the xbox one has backwards compatibility you would be silly to buy a 360, it is obsolete. There are only about 3 games that I know of from this years E3 being developed for the 360.

My advice is keep saving until you hae the money for a one unless you are happy playing older games on the 360. You will still need a subscription to play online on the 360, MS have said they are committed to the 360 service until 2016 after that who knows
what will happen with it.

Since I bought my first Xbox 360 I haven't played any other older game systems. In fact I sold most of my stuff off.
