    I'm on PC and my brother is on xbox. He wants to play minecraft with me and it keeps saying he has to pay. If we are friends and on the same internet, can we still play together or is it all behind a paywall?

    Considering that this has to do with being seen within the game itself, we suggest following the steps provided on
    this (How to play multiplayer Minecraft: Pocket Edition) page that covers the basics of setting up
    a multiplayer game within the PE edition of Minecraft.
