How to Play Fortnite without Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One , free like Sony or Nintento

Gold is required to play online on any game on the Xbox. There is no way around that. If it's available to tou, you can use the Microsoft Rewards program to earn points to redeem gold for free, otherwise you would have to purchase gold, which is typically
cheaper through a prepaid card from another retailer.

You need gold to play. The people running those servers need to be paid as well. That's a decision made by the game developers and it's fair. The Game is separate from the console requirements.

Thanks for voicing your opinion here on the forums! As stated by our Ambassadors, Xbox Live Gold is required to play any multiplayer game and a paid subscription is how Microsoft keeps their servers all over the world maintained, as keeping those
servers up and running 24/7, 365 days a year all around the world costs a lot of money.
It wouldn't be fair to make an exception for free to play games when normal games also need to pay for a subscription to play online.

There are many ways to earn the Xbox live gold subscription. First you can look for deals or discounts to get the subscription initially. Then there is
Microsoft rewards/Bing rewards.
If available for your region, this allows you to accumulate points from searches that everyone nowadays does and get points from purchases of games, DLC etc. With the points you can then turn around
and purchase Xbox Live Gold subscription. With an Xbox Live Gold subscription you also get other benefits like, Free Games with Gold and Deals with Gold.

What do you even mean by that? No one is paying for playing Fortnite on their devices except Xbox One. Guy's asking only for Fortnite to be made 'free-to-play' on Xbox Live. He is not asking for the whole Xbox Live
Gold thing to be made free. No one is BEGGING for that! He just wants to play Fortnite for free without paying a dime (apart from his electricity and internet bills) like everyone else out there is doing who doesn't own an Xbox One.

If you mean Xbox Live Gold card, you don't need one, as you can play Fortnite online multiplayer for free without a gold subscription.
