    How to play 360 games on Xbox one when not deemed backwards compatible


    My 6 year old daughter got the Barbie Puppy Rescue 360 game for Christmas since we also got an Xbox One and thought all games were backwards compatible. Now it seems that only some games are. Is there anyway to get this game to play on the Xbox One? She
    is crushed since we already opened it.

    Dead space disc not working for backwards compatibility on Xbox one?

    so I recently bought deadspace one for 360 to play on my Xbox one. I've checked the backwards compatible list multiple times and it is on there. But when I put the disc in I get told it's not a backwards compatible game.

    Would like to understand which of the xbox360 kinect games can be played on xbox one

    360 Kinect functionality is not available when playing Backwards Compatible on the Xbox One. If Kinect was required for the 360, then the game will not work on the Xbox One. See more info here.

    Sorry, but there isn't you can request a game to become backwards compatible.

    Usually the bigger demanded ones are given priority.

    As an owner of an xbox one s I do play xbox 360 games with backwards compatibility. The simplest way to explain how it does this is this: the xbox one essentially opens up the xbox 360 software to be able to play the games that are backwards compatible.
