How to pin in the new Xbox One Preview Update

I have been an Xbox Preview customer. I am looking for the Xbox dashboard update. I cannot see it on the website provided from the support team Xbox update preview FAQ. I am trying to update all of my achievements and dashboards.

To clarify. You need to be invited into the preview program by someone who is already in it to be able to obtain the newest dashboard.

An Achievement problem like this would be unrelated to needing a new dashboard update. Can you clarify a bit on what seems to be going on with the Achievements? Are you seeing any sort of error messages at all?

I never received the invite on my Xbox One. I am not sure what my next step is.

When I click on the link it says the group is not available.

 

You must not have opted in to the Latest Xbox Live Experience. You would need to use the Preview app on the console to do so and should have gotten a message on the console on from Xbox Live instructing you to do that. If you haven't gotten the message on
the console then your gametag/console have not come up yet in the roll out.

The people who received the latest Preview first were those who had the highest feedback scores at the end of the Next Xbox Experience preview in April. If you only have a few hundred points or less you likely weren't in the first or second wave of the rollout.

To opt in open the Preview app on the console, select registration and select opt in for the Latest Xbox Experience. The status will change to pending and when your console is selected to be updated you will be. You must be registered first though.

 

That's the whole issue. Everyone keeps telling me that I need the app, but I have not been offered it yet. I do not have access to the board or the app itself. Microsoft customer support said I need the preview app but gave me no way to access it. This is
super frustrating.

 

Yeah, well my response was based on the statement "I have been an Xbox Preview customer". Customer support has nothing to do with Preview and can't help.

The app, IF you are in the Preview program, is in the store and you will need to search for it and download it to your console. If you have applied and been accepted you would have been provided a token to download the app. If you have applied but haven't
heard anything back from the Preview program, then you aren't in Preview and likely won't get in anytime soon as the program has been full for months.

If your statement I quoted means something else then I don't know what to tell you. Message one of the mods and ask if they can forward your info to one of the staff from Preview.

 

I searched for it and couldn't find it in the App Store. The customer support tech told me that I was a preview customer due to my long standing account. I completely agree with you that it doesn't sound like I am in the program. I don't have access to the
app and I cannot login to the support pages for preview. Sorry for my novice answers, I am new to the message boards, especially in regards to this topic. I am not sure how to message the moderator on this topic. Where should I go to do so? Again I apologize
for the noob responses, all I'm trying to do is get my dang achievements to unlock again, lol.
