How to Pay with Microsoft Money?

Hey Guys,

yesterday i`ve bought 10 Euro of Microsoft Money. It´ve got it on my Xbox Account and it worked to buy a weapon in a game.

Now i want to get Xbox Live.

My problem is that i don't know how to pay with these Microsoft Money. I always see Credit Card,... but i can't figure out how I use the Microsoft money for buying games.

Unfortunately at this time, currency cannot be used for Xbox Live Gold Subscriptions. Currently the only subscription you can buy using your currency is a Music Pass subscription on Xbox One.

No. Third-party subscriptions are not available for purchase through Xbox stores.

hello guys basically i just went and bought some new microsoft account money thinking i can use it to pay for a 1 month gold membership then when i go to click on it says i have the £10 pounds in there but its transparent and wont let me select to pay with
that please can you post to help me out cheers.

Unfortunately you can only use debit/credit cards, Paypal or prepaid XBOX live cards to purchase Live. Microsoft money can only be used to purchase download content.

how can I play sea thieves that I bought with my own money and when I launch it, It says to buy Xbox Live Gold but how are the people able to play it and pay their own money just to pay more and not everyone can afford to pay every month and year and it's wong to pay extra when the whole online that's why Xbox live gold is scummy no one needs to pay extra money on an online base multplay game but how do I know if say this because it must be well paying job Microsoft is.

Because games pass is subscription, you need one for future payment.

Placing data on a payment method, such as a credit card, is a common practice in digital service subscriptions, see Spotify for example. It is a way to protect both the company that offers the service and the one who is interested in the service. Live
Gold is no different.

The reason for this is that the service is requiring that you provide the amount for this purchase and then next one. The service is trying to confirm that you have enough to cover the automatic renewal that is placed when purchasing on the console or through
the Microsoft store in general. This would also occur with a pre-paid code, but redeeming a code allows you to check or uncheck the option for an automatic renewal.
