How to Open Gamepass Game on Second PC

Forgive me if the answer is already somewhere in the forums but I could not find a solution. Basically, I installed Fallout 4 via Game Pass for PC to my external HDD. It works great. But, I want to play it upstairs on a second set up as well. When I log in to game pass on the second PC with the HDD that has the game installed plugged into it, Fallout 4 does not show up in my list of games and I can't figure out what to do. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

Unlike Steam or other PC download services, Windows games and apps can't be shared between two different PCs, even when logged in with the same secure Microsoft account.

Games install to an encrypted 'WindowsApps' folder, which can only be read on the original PC it was activated on.

I want to inform you that I don't have access to your data or account.

I don't believe it depends on the type of game but rather on a potential error on your PC.
Typically, given that you've already gone through all the steps, the last solution would be to uninstall and reinstall Windows.

Before doing this, you could simply add a new user on Windows and see if you encounter the same problem. If it works, then resetting Windows should allow you to play even on the main user account. I hope I've been clear and helpful.

Hi,

Well I assume by following your first instruction I did indeed reinstall Windows 10 already.

The only game I can open is 'Halo Infinite' as its a free to play game online (that doesn't require pc gamepass). So the fact that I can open that game on the Xbox app tells me it may be a pc gamepass issue.

Do you know how I could contact a Microsoft employee to check out my account (and possibly give me a refund if im out of luck)?

Did you sign up to Xbox GamePass for PC or for Console? If you signed up for Xbox GamePass for Console , some games, specifically play anywhere games are still playable on PC. You need to sign up for either GamePass on PC or GamePass Ultimate to access
