how to only play game from one location?

i have a queston

my son has gta and plays at home,but one day he went to a friends house and signed in there..now his friend keeps playing his gta game..my son doesnt want him to play the game..

how can i set the game to be played only from my house?

You can't. The games have to be installed before you can play them.

Download from the website? How does one do this?

I searched for the game at live.com to force the download from my pc, and could not locate it.

I didn’t get the option to choose what I deleted. But have fixed it. I didn’t start the game, I deleted saved from the external HDD where the game is located plus from the location you suggested. Then as the game is only played online through cooperative missions which can be played privately, I unplugged the 5CATE cable, then fired up the game.

You can. Saves happen in both locations. If you try to play a game and can't retrieve from cloud it will ask you to continue without syncing. The game will then only save locally. Next time you boot the game and it notices 2 different saves, one in the cloud
and one on your HDD you will select continue from local save. They will then sync up and be the same.
