    How to mute Xbox when connected to pc


    I connected my Xbox to my pc for the Battlefront 2 beta cuz I want good graphics but I found out there is sound I want to use my headphones so I don’t distract my family is there Amy way to mute it thx in advance

    Mic not working in the xbox app and in party chat while streaming

    I need to have my headset connected to the xbox one controller to use the chat on my pc? Even in the start a party beta? Everywhere I have read people said you just need your headset connected to the pc and have the headset and mic set to default in the
    playback devices on windows 10. When in the start a party beta I right click on my user profile pic and it says mute. I press mute then right click again, it says unmute. I press unmute and nothing happens. It just keeps saying unmute.

    Hi @all,

    i've purchased a xbox one a few days ago.

    The xbox is connected to a TV for video and to a logitech soundsystem for the sound.

    So that works fine. But when I tell my xbox to mute the sound, it mutes the tv sound (a sign on tv appears) but not the soundsystem, where the sound comes from.

    How can I configure the xbox to mute my soundsystem and NOT the tv?

    I have recently purchased the a20 headset and connected it to the xbox but it still did not work i tried it on my PC and it worked good and the sound is also working as it should but when i went back to connect it to the xbox then I noticed that the sound
    is too low and the mute icon is still on mute..

    I purchased Xbox one X gold rush edition and Astros A20 head set both are brand new. I am pretty sure the controller is new as well. Why is the mute icon still on mute when this is a whole different console? Is the accounts muted?

    Hi InfiniTTTy, as a preface, PCs are technically unsupported on Xbox One at the current time.

    What I believe is happening I that we're receiving a pause/mute when from the PC when the content finishes and we mute the stream. It's definitely a known issue.

    Are you able to try the headset on another device to see if it works (PC for example)?

    Are you using the chat adapter to connect to the console?

    Does the headset have a manual mute button?
    No i havent tried that yet thats a great idea! Im not to sure what the chat adapter is though. And no there is no mute button. I have to flip the mic up and down to mute. Im gonna try connecting it to my pc now.

    i kno this might be stupid but when u stream to ur pc is the MIC icon at the top muted.. by default it is.. when that is muted you can hear people but they cannot hear you
