How to mute xbox one from system settings?

He doesn't have headphones so the sound is stuck at a high rate of volume he has the option to get headphones an app from the phone or just turn the sound off from the xbox through the speaker audio setting of the xbox thu the HDMI tab and just select
off, and that will turn all sound off. I instructed him to just ask for a better tv or another room and just explain things. I dont know of many hotels that wouldnt give him a new tv or room. I don't like to speculate but normal hotels would do this mainly
for the fact it would disturb others? He/she has plenty of options.

Volume controls are in system settings from memory not at home right now.

Alternatively cant you set volume within the game itself?

Try downloading an app on your phone that you adjust the tv volume from.

Hi there Paratix, I may be able to help you solve this but it is highly possible the TV is faulty (hotel TV's go through a lot of abuse and use). Is there a remote that you can use to mute the TV? You sound like you've been going through the general settings
is there an audio settings menu? You may be able to call the front desk at the hotel and explain to them the TV is stuck at max volume and that it is for sure a problem. That way they can either fix it replace it or give you another room with a TV that isn't
faulty.

If you do not have headphones follow these steps please.. cycle over to the gear symbol select settings pick the general tab Under the general tab go to volume and audio output select that and you will see volume options which is for headphones then
you have speaker audio which is specifically for your tv audio. I am assuming you have it connected by a hdmi? if so click the hdmi audio tab and select off that would turn all sound off. But you could just get headphones or if you are at a normal hotel ask
for a working tv?? If they give you an issue and say they cant tell them the sound of the tv is disturbing you and others around and i paid for a room with working equipment in it ac heat tv bed shower etc. i expect that either you resolve this issue or you
give me substantial fee off of the price of this hotel and im sure you wouldnt lie a horrible review. I dont know your situation but most hotels that i have been to will change the TV?? Unless this is a strange hotel and I don't want to assume the type. Just
ask the hotel staff to replace it or get you another room if they cant replace it.
