Microsoft is set up so that original x box one profile is under the parent or organizer. how can I move that profile to a new member so that I can turn on monitoring and time limits. Because you cannot do that to the organizer

how to move x box one profile from organizer to new member

You unfortunately can't. Your only option is to create a new child account and they will have to start again from scratch. Games and progress can not be moved f om one account to another.

If you mean, "Can I move my Xbox Live profile from my old Xbox to my new Xbox," then the answer to that is, yes. You can move your profile to a usb drive, or recover your profile on your new console.

    Disappearing Profile

Not to worry, I managed to resolve the issue myself by moving my profile from my moveable hard drive to the main x box drive then downloading my profile directly to the re moveable drive.

How can I change an organizer to a member?

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    Good evening

Ask the current organizer to transfer their ownership to another member of the family sharing group. They can do this by going to Settings > [their name] > Family Sharing > Family Sharing Settings, and selecting the new member they want to transfer ownership to.

The new organizer will receive a notification that they have been assigned as the new organizer. They'll need to accept the invitation to become the new organizer.

Once the new organizer has accepted the invitation, the previous organizer will become a member of the family sharing group.
