How to merge two microsoft accounts

Hello, i need some help to manage two microsoft accounts. I have one account which is associated to my xbox live account, and another microsoft account which is associated to my laptop and my smartphone. The microsoft-xbox live account is based on an old
e-mail address, and the microsoft-devices account is based on my current e-mail address. I was searching for the best way to end up with a single account for all this things. The problem is that my current e-mail address is not associated to the xbox live
account, so I wanted to fix this mess... but I cannot add my address as an alias on the xbox live account because that address is already used for the other account. My microsoft-devices account has a xbox live profile, which was created when I created the
account, and which I do not use at all, but, since it isn't a xbox live GOLD account, so I do not pay for it, it isn't shown among the services and subscriptions on microsoft.com... Is there a way to change the microsoft account associated with the xbox live
account without closing one of the accounts? If I closed my microsoft-xbox live account I would have to cancel my xbox live account and recreate it on the right microsoft account, but I would loose months of xbox live gold subscription. If I closed my microsoft-devices
account, I would have to wait 60 days for it to be completely closed, THEN I'd have to add the (now free) e-mail address as an alias to the microsoft-xbox live account, THEN I'd have to remove te old e-mail address and THEN I'd have to re-associate all my
devices... Please help!

Hello,

I created one account on my xbox, with the gamertag I use to play but a Live Id that I don't use.

I also have a Live Id that is linked with my current hotmail account,but with a gamertag that I don't use.

When I try to replace the Live Id linked to my current gamertag on the Xbox, I have a message that the Live Id is already used by another gamertag.

How can I merge my current gamertag I use with my hotmail account ?

only one gamertag per windows live id

however you will have to create a third windows live id an d then login into the account that has the windows live id you want

change it to the third dummy windows live id

then the one you want windows live id is free then goto the gamertag you want to change

then change it to the windows live id you want

There isn't necessarily a way to merge Microsoft Accounts, but you can switch your preferred Microsoft Account to your Gamertag. It does require creating a third Microsoft Account which is essentially used as a dummy (please keep in mind that you'll need
to wait 30 days after the accounts creation).

I have the same problem.

I have a xbox account with lot of content already and I have a Microsoft Windows Account with content.

What should I do now with my xbox and my windows 10 devices ?

I have Groove on Windows 10 but I cannot use it on my xbox because I have a different account there and there is no way of a different login.

Have you got a solution for me too ?

Deleting my accounts ? Delete my xbox account ?

I would like to use my xbox account with my windows 10 account information.

Please help me !
