    Free Gold Weekend

    I got a email saying that this weekend is free gold live and even saw this online. I just tried using some of the gold live features and none of it worked, it just wants to me to buy a gold account. So my questions is, is it or is it not a free gold live
    weekend and if it is how the hell do you get it to work.

    Isn't today free Gold weekend?

    My Xbox Live just expired, and I was planning to do some achievements this weekend. Someone told me that it was Free Gold Weekend, and Google results point that it is Free Gold Weekend, too. I'm pretty sure it's because of G3, or to support Children's Miracle
    Network Hospital.

    However, for some reason, I'm still stuck with Xbox Live Free? So is Gold not happening today? I can't play online or get those achievements without Gold.

    Once a free gold weekend has ended your access to live will end automatically with no action needed on your end.

    Did you just download the game this weekend? It was free for Xbox Live Gold members this weekend. If so, I'm pretty sure the free play time ended today. If you want to continue playing now you'll need to purchase the game.

    Technically you are offline because you can't join Xbox LIVE games. Also, I believe this weekend is a XBOX Free LIVE weekend. For taking your account off XBOX LIVE, I'm not sure if that's possible.
