How to make microphone better for twitch streams on Xbox.

Sorry to hear about the chat issue! Before you stream with the Twitch app, the Twitch app should snap to the right. In that menu, navigate to the bottom and select 'Settings' and there should be an 'Enable Microphone' setting, along with a slider to adjust
microphone volume. Make sure your microphone is enabled and your volume is up and post back if that helps you out!

In the Twitch settings while streaming you can choose to mute your mic so that your voice won't be heard on your stream. Your friends will still be able to chat with you.

Regarding your second question, even with the microphone on, the twitch stream does not pick up the voices of other people in your party. I actually found this forum trying to find a way to make twitch pick up the voices of my friends as well as my own.

Yea, depending on how he has the stream set up (whether its PC or on Xbox) all people in an Xbox Party or within earshot of his Microphone (that's a given) will be heard on the stream. One of my friends prefers to use Twitch to stream over Mixer and he doesn't
often tell us he's streaming because it doesn't show up on Xbox Live like Mixer does.

But yes, you should be heard by default depending on how he has the stream set up.

twitch was the original way to stream when the xbox one launched and was optimised for the snap feture, it was quick and easy then, then they ditched the snap function and make it clunky, now they are getting rid of mixer not sure how they are going to make
this better.

they may put a dedicated broadcast button in the guide again and give you the option which service to stream too but as this is Microsoft they will probably not bother and make it difficult.
