How to make main account a child account moving forward

i have an xbox account and an xbox one. My sone has just used my login to play and has amassed some vbucks and made purchases in fortnite. I want to make this a child account moving forward to restrict screen time (i havent found a way to restrict screen
time on a parent account). What can i do to restrict his time but not lose the skins hrs bought?

i done see a way to make tgis account a chikd account and add a new parent account over it.

I can’t believe this isn’t possible? Why is this so hard? I have the same scenario and need to limit screen time. Either allow account transfers or allow screen time on an adult account. Either one solves the problem.

no you cannot transfer items or games from one account to another.

Thanks. My son is using my account primarily to play fortnite. If i create a child account for him do you know if there is a way to transfer the skins he’s bought in my account in to this new account do he’s not starting totally over?

Thank you for your reply. I did some digging and couldn’t find a way so I was assuming it couldn’t be done but thought it was wirth a try. By chance, do you know if there is a way to transfer fortnite skins in to a new account if I set up a child account
for him? He doesn’t want to lose everything he bought and used under my account if we set up an account for him.
