    How to leave xbox insider program with a console already register with another account?


    Hello, I have the next problem:

    I’ve purchased a used console, and when I launched the Xbox Insider Hub, it said that the console was enrolled in a preview. How can I leave this preview?

    To prevent a console from being removed from a preview without your consent, some previews require the user who joined the preview to request unenrollment. However, if you purchased a used console that’s enrolled in previews you’d like to leave, post on
    the Xbox Insider forums and we’ll be happy to assist.

    So I want to leave the program

    Hi there!

    With frequent updates we would imagine you are part of the Insider Preview program. In this case, we recommend reaching out to the

    Insider Forums     for the best info on how often you should see updates.

    Keep in mind that being part of the
    Insider program     means lots and lots of updates as it is a testing ground for new OS updates.

    The only way to circumvent this is to leave the program. To do this be sure to remove the insider app from your console and the

    factory reset the console.

    We do hope this helps clarify how the program works a bit more and explain why you would see so many updates!

    Thanks for keeping us updated. The Xbox Insider users do get different updates due to them testing upcoming changes that are being made for general users. It can sometimes cause issues with the console. Did you purchase the console from someone, and
    did the console come with an account on it?
    The Xbox Insider Program     requires that you apply for it with your Microsoft account and the serial number to the console is attached to that account through the program. You may want to

    reach out to Xbox Insider support     to ask about that specific OS version, and how to sign up when a console may already be registered with another account. We look forward to hearing from you again

    How to leave the Xbox One update preview program

    Whether you’re selling or giving your Xbox away, or just don’t want to participate anymore, you should remove it from the update preview program. If you’ve already sold or gifted your Xbox, you can launch the Xbox Insider Hub on another
    console or a Windows 10 PC and follow these same directions.

    Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC.

    1. On the main landing page, select Settings.
    2. Select Manage devices and choose the one you want to remove from the program.
    3. Select Done.
