How to launch modern warfare 2

I’m trying to launch modern warfare 2 through warzone but when I launch war zone and try to play modern warfare 2 it says I need to purchase the game even though I have the disc in and all the correct files and add ons installed.

I have restarted the Xbox several times, signed out my account and back in. I have even factory reset the Xbox and it still hasn’t worked.

I was able to access the game once to play campaign but haven’t been able to since then.

Trying to launch mw2 through warzone can sometimes glicth. I myself had this issue.

All i did was hard reboot. Hold down the power button on the console until it turns off. Then unplug the power cable for a minute, this clears the cache.

You can also try to clear the mac address, in network settings.

So before I press "A" to launch modern warfare 2, I noyice my Microsoft account name DEEPSEA44 is displayed, but as soon as game is launched, my Activision account name shows up on the screen. Could this be the issue? If so, how would I rectify it?

Because Modern Warfare 3 is related to Black Ops 2. Let me ask you this: how similar were Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. Thats the kind of similarity we're looking at here.
