  1. How to know if displaying 4k?

Hi everyone, I have an Xbox one x and a 4k HDR tv. I believe I have everything set up correctly on both the tv and Xbox to display in 4K HDR but was just curious if there's a way to be sure?

When I load into games like Titanfall 2 or Wildlands I see the "HDR" message in the top right but don't see "4k HDR". Does this mean it's in 4K or not? Thanks for any help.

    :)

  3. Nat moderado

    Heya!

If you are seeing you console continuously displaying a moderate NAT let's follow the

    Xbox One NAT guide
    .

Be sure to try those steps wired and wirelessly if possible.

Post back and let us know how that goes!

How to know if displaying 4k?

    Hi

You will find that most televisions will display a HDR prompt but probably not a 4K one.

Hi when I press the info button on my TV's remote, a resolution is displayed. In my case 2160P (4K).

    The HDR option is toggled.

  6. Note also that during setup, the Xbox One X default resolution is 1080p, If the console detects you are using a 4K display, it will prompt you to ask if you wish to change to 4K. If not, you can change this manually from the settings screen.

You can see if your TV is displaying correctly either from an information button on the remote, or by simply changing the HDMI source back and to the Xbox One X again. This will usually show a information pane at the top of the screen showing the resolution
    your TV is set to.

On my Samsung it says UHD 3840x2160.

    Standard Blu-ray not being up-converted

Hey, drwatson618! Sorry to see any confusion surrounding this, however some items that are not 4K rated will not display in 4K. This is why the console needs to be set to Auto in the settings; not everything supports 4K just yet, and the console wants to
    adjust for those items.

If you have any issues with UHD Blu-ray not displaying in 4K, or other 4K issues, please do not hesitate to let us know! Thanks for understanding!

    4k stream explorer app

    Hello!

Thanks for reaching out to the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues with 4k compatibility on the Microsoft Edge app? Keep in mind the 4k features depend on the content that is being displayed as well. Some Apps or content may not
be compatible to stream in 4k. Let us know with a reply a bit more information regarding this issue to determine how to best assist you.
