    How to install microsoft game GO on windows 8.1


    I have Windows 8.1. In March 2017 I had to format the hard disk due to virus problem and reinstall all the programs.
    All done with direct help from Microsoft support (CHAT) that was very useful and made everything work.

    At that time had installed the game GO (Japanese game). Now, I can no longer reinstall this game, via Microsoft's game store.
    There it informs that it is only available for Windows 10, and this Windows 10 I could not adapt.

    So, I wonder if there is any link (or way) within Microsoft that I can use to download this game to my Windows 8.1?

    Note, the GO game was developed for Windows 8 and 8.1 platforms. Before it was available for download. I do not understand why it can now only be downloaded for Windows 10.

    Wireless XBox 360 controller to Windows 8.1 operating system

    I have a problem. I'm trying to install my wireless controller onto my laptop which just today went up to the Windows 8.1 operating system. When I go to install the software and drivers, the Microsoft/Xbox site has only the Windows 7 and Vista 64 bit OS
    as the choices, no Win 8 anywhere. Will the Windows 7 64 bit be compatible with my 8.1?

    I am unable to unlock any Minesweeper achievements! please help.

    In my case I had power management issues and poor performance when I updated to Windows 8.1. Microsoft Solitaire Collection in particular had lots of sound glitches.

    After 3+ bad attempts to upgrade to 8.1 (about once a month since 8.1 came out, when I've had time to back up, update, then roll back), I ultimately had to back up all my data, do a factory reset, get all the Windows Updates, then upgrade to Windows 8.1
    from a relatively clean install of Windows 8.0.

    Hopefully your upgrade goes better than my earlier ones did.

    Once you're on Windows 8.1, go to the Store, bring up the settings, go to App Updates, and check for updates. Apps are supposed to update automatically in 8.1, but I've usually had to do the first one manually.

    If you've been playing Minesweeper for awhile (I've been playing since April 2013 or so) quite a few of the new achievements will unlock on first play if you've already earned them.

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection And Windows 8.1

    I really like to play tri peaks, but as soon as Windows 8.1 update or upgrade, whatever everyone calls it. It is sluggish and sound issues. It worked smoothly and perfect in Windows 8.0, but as soon as 8.1 was installed and even all the driver updates do
    nothing to fix the issues this game has. It is a App issue. This app needs a new update fix for Windows 8.1. I tried other games from XBOX like mahjong and others and they run fine in Windows 8.1. It is this App only. Until someone here from XBOX or Microsoft
    decides to fix this, then the game is never installed again or played by me. My mother won't even update or upgrade to Windows 8.1, because of this.

    I even contacted BestBuy and Toshiba, and they won't do anything, because it is an App issue. So far I see a lot complaining about this App not doing what it should be doing in Windows 8.1, but nothing is being done to fix it. Such a fun game ends up being
    no fun, when it is sluggish and no sound.

    360/X1 Compatibility

    It would be like installing some game designed for Windows 3.1 on a Windows 8.1 PC. 360=3.1 and One=8.1 to be clear. MS, as stated by Eggnogga, is working on an emulator or the like that will play (some if not all) 360 games.
