How to install disk games from store that are bundle only.

Today I bought a brand new Dragon Age: Inquisition disk from Gamestop, and the disk continues to stop installing at 45%, this has also did this on many other disk, but I assumed it was the disks since they had slight scratches on them. But this one is brand
new and it is doing it, and I also know you can download game via the store if you put the disk in and navigate to the store page on said game. But DA:I is bundle only, and I see no way to download it like the others, and Gamestop has very, very bad refund
practices (I paid 60 for it, they'll give me 20 in-store credit, which is the biggest screw over I have ever seen)

Gears of War 3 for 360 on Xbox One

The only option to install is from a digital copy not a disk

Bundle willing only show up on the store which you can not jse

Ready to install section does not appear in my games and apps menu.

I got Rare Replay in the holiday bundle, and immediatly poped the disk in. All the xbox 360 games started downloading, but i didn't care about the Viva Pinata games and cancelled those downloads. Now i can't figure out how to redownload those games.

Everywhere i look, it says they are in a ready to install list on my my games and apps menu. The problem is I don't have a ready to install list. I go to games and scroll right, like where all the support threads tell me, but there is only my installed games
and a box that says "Find more in the xbox store".

I waited for the list to load, and i also tried a hard reboot, but still no ready to install. When i look up the games in the store, it tells they are only available in the bundle and i need to buy it from them digitally.

I don't want to buy stuff in the xbox store if this problem persists. Thanks for any advice.

Fist of all, do you get any specific error or does the installation simply stop?

Anyway, the problem could occur if an update is downloaded during the disc installation. The simpler troubleshoot you can do is to delete local installed files of the game and try again the disc installation with the console set on
offline.

You have to install from ready to install NOT xbox store

Also if you are talking about disk games the. No you can't install those as it is a digital only console

Disk version:

Uninstalled everything cold war

Put in disk

Went to Microsoft store

Picked series x version

Picked install

Started game, was in trial mode

Quit out

Installed 4 content packs FROM STORE

Started game, HD assets, ray tracing installed.

Thanks for the solution.

EDIT: Base game download might have come from disk, not store. But it was 180gb and content packs did come from store.

hello fellow gamer if you are like me and have the game on disk it is really common for the game to fail install RDR2 is notorious for this cancel the install go to the Microsoft store and install the game digitally off of the disks license if you have the disk in your console, you should be able to install it digitally from the Microsoft store.
