    How to install and play Call of Duty Cold War from physical CD?


    I bought Call of Duty Cold War, the actual physical CD at Best Buy. I attempted to install on my XBOX, but it's asking me for a 25 character "code" and it's asking me to choose a monthly pay package? What is this? There is no code included with the
    CD package.

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. To install the game from the disc you just need to insert the game disc, the console checks to see whether the game is already installed. If it isn’t,
    you’re prompted to install the game. You may also be prompted to download an update to the game before you can play it.

    So do I have to pay extra for the code? There's supposed to be a 25 character code. It's prompting me to pay extra for a monthly subscription. I don't want to pay extra. I already paid for the game at the store. I don't want multi-player, just 1 player
    (myself).

    Is it possible to play without a code, to play without paying extra, to play just 1 player?

    How come when I open call of duty black ops coldwar a pop up appears saying purchase game then another pop up appears saying game already installed but still wont let me play mind you I own this game.
