    How To Install Add-ons


    I have one of the Xbox 360 consoles that do not connect to internet at all, and I was wondering how to redeem a code on the computer and use a flash drive to install it onto my Xbox. How would I do that without buying an internet adaptor for my Xbox?

    It turns out that when purchasing DLC or redeeming a code, while the add-ons will automatically download, they won't automatically install. I figured that I'd post, step-by-step, how to install those add-ons.

    To install the add-on for use, here's what you need to do:

    1.Go to "My games and apps"

    2.Move the cursor over the game or app with the add-on in question (don't hit A)

    3.Press the Menu button

    4.Select "Show all add-ons"

    5.Select the add-on you're looking for (it should say "Ready to Install")

    6.Press A and select Install

    7.Wait for the install to finish, then play and enjoy.

    Hi guys; I bought the game and got the code too. It turns out that when purchasing DLC or redeeming a code, while the add-ons will automatically download, they won't automatically install. I figured that I'd post, step-by-step, how to install those add-ons.

    Sorry, but you can't. Any content you download for the Xbox can only be downloaded directly to the console itself. It is not possible to download from the website. The website will only queue a download to start on the console.

    Even if it doesn't have a wireless adapter, you should be able to connect with a wire.

    Once you're connected with a wired connection you can sign into Live. If the DLC you're wanting is from a code, you would redeem the code via the website or console and it will start downloading.

    Once you're connected with a wired connection you can sign into Live. If the DLC you're wanting is from a code, you would redeem the code via the website or console and it will start downloading.
