    How to increase the size of text


    Hey folks,

    Since I got my One for Christmas I have found it pretty difficult to read the text on my tv (40"). I can't remember it being so small with my 360. Is there a way of increasing the text size without affecting the operation of the games???? I can't believe
    that my eyesight is so bad that I cannot read the text on the screen. Infact there is nothing wrong with my eyesight. The size of the text is just so small.

    Am i too old

    The last update did increase the size of the text, although it is still pretty small to me in places.

    Can I increase text size?

    playing 360 games on a small non HD screen (or HD screen but set to SD) will make text VERY hard to read if it can be read at all. Setting you screen to HD will allow you to read the text more easily.

    I'm so old I have to sit close to my 37" HDTV to read the text. But, on the plus side, it makes the whole Skyrim world seem bigger and closer to me! I love this game!

    I'll have to look into that my self, there might be one laying around the house, but I'm not sure. (Living with someone else, I don't know what's here, and what's not.) I'll have to try that out, and see how it goes. I'll also check my console settings,

    Like everyone else has suggested, you'll see things more clearly with a high defintion TV as opposed to a standard defintion one. The words won't be larger but they'll definitely be more clear. That might just be what you need. I recently took my Xbox to
    a hotel with me and played Skyrim on their standard def TV and the difference was phenomenal. I could barely see a damn thing.



    As far as I know there isn't a way to adjust text within Skyrim itself, but there might be under the settings on the Xbox dashboard. I really have never check so I'm sure.
