How to increase race position?

I want to thank the help I received from support on this issue. However I did not want to post a complaint in the correct place so I decide to reply to my own post about what a rip off XBOX is. During a patch or cloud issue or what ever support told me today
1/29/2015 was absolutely insulting. The bottom line was I was told I was out of luck and too bad there was nothing to be done to get my information back. So I finished all Championship races, finished Storm Island, and half way though Forza2 but decided on
giving my console away and only blame myself since it is XBOX-Microshaft. I am more mad at myself for not realize the company I was dealing with. They will take but never return. It is a simple cloud issue. If you can upload it is a simple download and reset
my console but they said outright NO!....and then laughed.........I know Karma, the Law of Three and Tenfold and Karma must be paid........to bad Turn10 "great game" teamed up with xbox.....if anyone does read this you will see how many many other people XBOX
has ripped off.......Topic......lost information......

Well, that's the problem right there. Most people who play Forza these days are not looking for a serious racing game.

To me, Forza has become something of a buffet restaurant. It has a wide array of different things to appeal to as broad an audience as possible. If you want a steak dinner though, you're not going to go to a buffet...you're going to go somewhere that specializes
in steak dinners.

And, extending the parallel you've drawn, the wide array of contaminants we expose ourselves to when we eat at a buffet is staggering....lol

Theres actually 2 screens you have to go through to enter the race. After you highlight the race and hit A, it takes you to a kind of 'lobby' where you can see the other opponents and change your car before you actually enter the race. You won't have to
back out. And changing your car from that 'lobby' doesn't affect the other opponents or change what cars they use. From there, you hit 'Start Race' which takes you to another screen where you can change the options but not your car.
