How to improve Xbox service in Brazil?

In this message i am going to explain what has driven me to post this message in the hopes microsoft hear me out.

First of all i am a avid xbox fan and i have been in the xbox community for many years. Gamertag BroleinBR

I was on xbox insider program until i left it recently for some reasons

Xbox insider program and xbox preview will jeopardize your gaming experience in several ways with unstable builds and updates, which is totally understandable because you are not compelled to join the program , you do it at your own free will and ive done it
in order to help Microsoft improve their services , also always allowing enhanced error reporting.

I have a Xbox one X , Xbox live gold and xbox game pass.

I supported microsoft in every way possible as a gamer wanting to help. but lets go to the facts.

Xbox one X is sold in the US at 499.99 which is around 2000 BRL.

The cheapest Xbox one X i could find in my country in a retailer was 3000 BRL after receiving a 300 BRL discount by paying in cash, the full price was 3300 BRL, which is more or less 790 Dollars, for Brazilians
its ALOT of money, they gave me a 1 month warranty on the controller and 3 month warranty on the Console which is nothing

I registered my Console on the website and its warranty goes up to 2019 but theres a problem, there are no Microsoft stores in Brazil we are subjected to third party companies to deliver microsoft service and
they dont, i experienced a problem on my controller and the controller was on warranty by microsoft but the ways to send the controller are very burocratic and simply doesnt work, well , i bought a new controller then the price was Fair , 320 BRL, when i came
home i experienced problems with the controller and had to get a new one from the retailer , its working fine now.

I Understand that my country does contribute to this lack of service, but Microsoft could improve it if they wanted because we have demand.

My points are.

The acessories and consoles we buy here are way more expensive than they are in the US , considering Dollar to BRL conversion and taxes also considering an average brazilian income and an average american income.

I Wanted to get a Xbox elite controller but its just an Absurd in this country, the average price is HALF the price of a xbox one X

Around 900 to 1500 BRL

I contacted a sales representative on microsoft website, stating the problem and the representative washed his hands on it and didnt help me out.

The service provided is burocratic and is not hassle free, games are expensive as well.

im thinking about giving up on xbox because xbox seems to provide service for a select range of customers and wont really care how devoted a fan you are to them regardless of where your live.

I understand that Microsoft might have some difficulties imposed by Brazilian government.

But i also know for sure that if Microsoft wanted they could open a Microsoft Store in Brazil and deliver the best service possible to Brazilian customers, because Microsoft CAN DO IT.

And it would be a Huge Success i am very sure of it.

Brazil WONT get the Xbox All access plan and thats where i really started to lose overall satisfaction.

I hope i havent misjudged anything and im sorry for any mistakes on this post.

I did my best to open my heart on this because i really like Xbox and Microsoft and i just wanted to be provided with a better service.

Xbox Music needs to improve their service.

I signed up for the free trial for unlimited streaming but am very disappointed. It isn't reall unlimited streaming. It is basically a way to try and get people to pay full for albums.



Basically you get 1 song per newer album to listen too, the rest you need to pay for. There is some old music albums available to steam or download, but heck, even Janet Jackson is limited to a few per album, but you sure can pay for the full album.

I just can't justify 9.99/month additional to xbox live gold for this. To listen on Xbox you have to pay for Gold and 9.99/month and are limited to a few songs in the top categories, and half just keep repater 3-4 in a category. .

I have it for windows phone 8 and live but it just isn't worth the amount when I get more for 6.99/month from nokia.

 

Hi, I understand what you say, I go through the same problems, but let's see, Microsoft is doing a lot for the Brazilian fans, the prices of digital games in the xbox store are almost always better than the competitors, yes, the dollar is to 4 reais, unfortunately
there is no miracle, adding taxes, freight and commission from the store that sell them, the thing is and always was more complicated in Brazil;

About the warranty I believe that microsoft does the best it can; if comparing with its competitors it is always at a level above, but I agree too, there is always room for improvement!

Games are expensive. But they are as cheap as they can be, i understand that. In regards to gaming content there is nothing to complain i know microsoft is above its competitors but as you said there IS room for improvement.
