Connecting controller to phone

does anybody know how to connect my iPhone 7 to my Xbox one S controller I have done it to my computer and my dads LG phone but it won't even show up while trying to connect it to my iPhone

Why can't we upgrade

I mean why can't us regular Xbox one players upgrade to the next version of the Xbox the person has already like iPhone like let's I got a Xbox one why can't the next year I upgrade to Xbox one s like iPhone is u have iPhone 6 then next year u got a iPhone

I'm assuming you mean using your phone as a WiFi hotspot then yes you should be able to, you need to go into your phone's network settings and enable legacy mode which will enable you to use your phone as an wifi access point.
