How to Hide and Un-Hide Games/Apps from Ready to Install

Hello Xboxers!

Some users have asked how to hide and un-hide games/apps from the "Ready to install" list in "My Games & Apps"

That made this post, to explain how you can do it

Hide Games/Apps: Just select the game from the "Ready To Install" List and press the "Menu button" (The one with 3 lines) and select "Hide"



Un-hide Games/Apps: To do this, press both triggers and X while in the "ready to install" tab. Now you will be able to see all games/apps that were hidden.

Aha! I wondered how to un-hide games which I'd previously hidden.

The only problem I can see with that is that I spent quite some time hiding a lot of games and if I wanted to access just one of those hidden games I'd need to re-hide the others all over again.

 

When you show your hidden games using this method, it doesn't permanently un-hide them. You have to select them with the menu button and unhide them to make that happen

 

I had the impression that it restored all hidden games. That's good to know, and thanks for the clarification.

 

Method to un-hide games since update does not work... Still searching for the new method to un-hide them...

This fix doesn''t work for me, Microsoft needs to think of a better way to sort this out otherwise it's a bit of a pain not to be able to to hide things I'm not going to use maybe make it a function of the view button?

 

Go to the ready to install section on my games & apps, scroll over to the right and then use the buttons, if you don't scroll over to the right it won't work.

 

To hide a game or app you need to highlight it in the ready to install section, press the menu button on the controller and select hide from the menu.

 

if you know of a specific game that you should have the license for, you can manually go to the game page on the store and redownload it. that doesn't help making them all show up, but i just thought i'd mention that since it wasn't already said here.

 

to unhide games you now need to hold left button right button and tap x

 

For me .... sometimes have problems hiding from the " Ready to Install " list & they WILL NOT HIDE AT ALL !!!! Which I find ANNOYING
