How to have the chat mixer work.

My chat mixer for gaming and game chat allows me to move all the bars but it does not mix the game audio and the chat audio correctly, in fact, if I go all the way to the left or right, it does not mute the game or audio like it suppose to. Any fixes would be much appreciated

Oh I see. Thanks for that info. The chat mixer itself is designed for party chat. I am afraid it's not possible in game chat. If there's an in-game audio menu, you can instead lower its volume there manually.

Xbox series s, wired, or my brand new un used wireless controller that came with the console, it doesn’t matter, and a wired steel series headset. I have not changed the setup in a couple years

Seemed as if none of those steps pertain to the issue, trying a reset now.

Unfortunately, it’s only working for Xbox party chat, not in game chat. Which is saddening in the world of cross play
