How to go back to GOLD after Ultimate

Yes. Once you no longer have Ultimate, you can enter a regular gold subscription and it will not convert.

No. The Gold would have been converted to Ultimate. In order to go back to just Gold. You would have needed to add the code after your Ultimate subscription ended.

It all coverts to Game pass ultimate. Two months of ultimate + your time remaining on gold.

All become ultimate. Great deal. Ultimate will not expire after 2 months but after 26.3. 2020. One thing. When you convert to ultimate you can't go back until the subscription is over. If, for example, you cancel the subscription you will lose your gold.

If you get 1 month ultimate while having an active gold subscription, it will convert it to ultimate and be irreversible as all conversions are final. if you want to go back to gold after you will need to wait to end of your subscription to sign-up with a gold
sub again

Why not buy your gold up to a year then switch to ultimate. Let the ultimate lapse after that year and resub back to gold. Then convert to ultimate again for the year conversion?
