How to get XB1 Controller Repaired

I have an XB1 controller that I've had for maybe a year, unsure. One of the toggles have began to drift and have become annoying. I want to send it in for repair, but I've been going in circles on Microsoft's warranty website. All I can find is options
for registering consoles themselves. Also selecting contact us makes me go in circles as well and never results in an option to send a direct message to Microsoft for assistance.

If anyone can help point the way It'd be appreciated.

Hey there Firestarter 496,

You'll actually need to register the console first. Once you've done that you'll have the option to "Repair an accessory" for which you can do the controller. Let us know if you're having any issues!

left bumper has broken. Need a repair. Should still be in warranty but the Xbox site only seems to recognise console serial numbers and not controllers and so I can't register the device for repair like with the console's

I dont have the site on hand, but there is a site through Xbox to register your Xbox/Controller.

But all you should have to do is contact Xbox Support and request to replace or repair your controller, they should be able to help you and provide all the information you need.

On a side note, you could bring your controller possibly to a third party such as Best Buy Geeksquad or something around those lines to be fixed.

Or you could repair it yourself (will void any applicable warranty on said controller)

But that is all up to you bud.

Not that I think anyone should have to repair this. It's obviously a poor choice of materials that is causing the failure. Apparently the plastic piece that is failing in the XB1 controllers, was made of metal in the 360 controllers.

take it to a local game store that can test the controller to see if it's the controller or the game. I know gamestop has these tools. If it is the controller you can see how much it is to repair at tech repair place but it might just be worth it to get
a new controller.

I have the same question. I'd like to know if there is (or will be) a joystick controller for the XB1. I've searched multiple websites and all I found was a "rumor" that Saitek has one in development for XB1, but their website makes no mention of it. I'm
considering purchasing Elite Dangerous, but I'm still learning how to fly, fight, control a spaceship using a regular controller (playing Everspace) and I'm getting my butt kicked! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
