i have bought my xbox 360 from a guy in toronto and iv bought a xbox live gold card and it said that i cant connect to the internet with the xbox because it has been banned. i have no clue what the guy did to do this but i would like to be unbanned

i have got banned but i dont know what i did wrong i putted my account on my formatted usb and played with it becouse i dint want to loose it

and i started up my xbox and i was banned for 9999 years

How to get unbanned?

I was I think falsely banned for harassment because my account was stolen by some dude in China and they messaged a bunch of people and I think they reported me and now I’m banned for 14 days. Can someone reach out to me please?

Have you tried signing on with your own Xbox Liv account? This may be the problem. You should make your own account and then use the Xbox Live Gold card on that new account

sorry to say if your previously owned console is banned there is NO way to reverse said ban. this is why it is ALWAYS best not to buy used as you have NO idea of the past history of a used console. you will either A: have to take it up with the seller
and hopefully get your money back, or B: buy another console.

my son's account was banned for cheating, but he was invited to lobby by his friend. He didn't know that it was hacked. How do I get him un banned? Ps. He was banned for two weeks

Please don't bump old threads. It's not possible to appeal a suspension. Also, if he was suspended for 2 weeks then that usually means it's not the first time he's been suspended. If he gets suspended again it will more than likely be a permanent ban.

I checked the history for his bans and all punishments and this is the first time anything has happened, there are not even any reports that showed up! Anyway, thanks for the help. Sorry about the old thread though, I've never used threads on Microsoft.

No worries. Everyone has a first time. However, if you would like to know the reason for the suspension you can post in the Suspensions Forums where the PET will answer you.
