how to get to gears of war 4 for pc

fine, here we go again. I pre ordered gears of war 4 for pc and xbox, I redeemed my code, on the xbox site, (which there were NO instructions for) by pre ordering you are supposed to be able to play 4 days early, on the 7th, now I cannot see how to get
to play this on pc, it does not show up under games for windows marketplace, so how do I play it, or is it not unlocked yet for pc?

My Geforce redemption code for Gears of War 4 is not working

I tried to redeem my code for a free version of Gears of War 4 on PC and it did not work. Would appreciate any help to get this to work.

 

Xbox play anywhere need help

I have gears of war 4 on the Xbox, bought it on the disc but never received a code with my game for playing it on the pc. I just recently built a brand new gaming pc and would love to play Gears on it but i dont know how to play my game on the pc. Someone
let me know please

This depends the version you pre-ordered.

If you took the Ultimate Edition, it is already playable. For the Standard Edition, you will have to wait until the 11th of October

For installing Gears Of War 4 on your PC, do as follow:

• Check you Windows version by doing WIN+R and type winver then press enter. if you see 1607, you are good! if not, download the update and install it first https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12387/windows-10-update-history
  
• Open the Windows Store app from the task bar and head to your account.
• Click on your user picture and choose My Library
• If Gears of War 4 doesn't appear there, click on Show All
• Click on the arrow to download the game

I also got problem for my Gears of Wars 4 download

1) My windows version is 1607

2) I go to My Library, then click on Show All

3) click on the arrow to download the game

4) I change my download path to D drive, the reason is my C Drive don't have enough space

5) click install, it show below error message, "Please re-download later, we get something wrong here"

Above error message i am translate from chinese, may be got some wrong word, but the meaning is right.

Anyone can help me?

Can you try to reset the Windows Store App by doing this:

• Close the Windows Store App.
• Open a command prompt.
• Type WSRESET and press enter
• Once done, type exit and press enter

See if this solve something.

After run WSRESET, Now i can direct install the game in Game Screen, no needs go to My Library

Your Guys is more professional, yesterday i also ask Microsoft support center, but they can't resolve this problem...

 

I'm having the same issue, I just bought gears of war 4 UE on Tuesday (10/11/16) from gamestop. and when I got home I redeemed the game and the store said that the code worked and to install the game. but when I clicked on the next button to go install the
store says I dont own the game. even tho I had a digtal copy for windows 10. any way to help? its not under my hidden games and its not in my games.

Probably stupid question but are you really sure you got a code for Windows 10?

If yes, check the My Library in the Windows Store App located in the task bar.
