    How to get the chat sound on headset AND tv speakers


    Hi everyone,

    there used to be a "Chat Sound Settings" option in the xbox one options but I cant find it anywhere anymore. Did they removed these settings and why?

    I want to hear the chat (voice of other players) through the headset and also through tv speakers. Right now it comes out of the speakers if there is no headset connected and if i connect one, it only comes out of the headset. But i want both.

    Is there any way to do so?

    Chat and audio on TV and Headset Simultaneously XBox one S

    Hi there, Prawny77!

    If you would like to enable party chat to come through both the headset and the speakers, then you can enable this settings by navigating to the settings on your console > display & sound > volume > party chat & output > headset
    & speakers.

    How can i get sound ? with my monitor ?

    think ill just buy a headset and wait until I get a decent tv, thanks anyway, seems buying the adaptor and some new speakers is just too expensive after all .

    the problem is if you plug in the included headset to your controller, it''s going automatically relegate all chat to that channel, sending and receiving ...when you don't have a mic plugged in, it relegates chat receiving to the same audio channel as game
    sound, i.e. you hear chat on your TV, speakers, or headset but the kinnect is the mic...but a as you plug something into the cotroller, then both sending and receiving chat is relegated there, so you no longer hear chat on your TV, speakers or premium headset

    Check to see if your friends have their game sound and party coming out of their TV speakers.

    Used to game with someone who had a very old chat headset and it always fed back everything in party as his chat also came through the TV. Very frustrating and we couldn't get him to understand the trouble it causes.
