How to get someone to talk to you?

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with connecting with an agent. Unfortunately, the only way to reset your account password is through the website.

Try this To reset your password:

1. Go to the
Reset your password page.

2. Choose the reason you need your password reset, then click Next.

3. Enter the Microsoft account email address you're trying to recover. If you don't know or can't remember the email address for your Microsoft account, see

4. Enter the characters you see on the screen, then click Next.

5. If you have security info on your account, we'll send a one-time code to the alternate phone number or email address you gave us. After you enter the code on the next screen, you'll be able to make a new password. Learn

If you would like to talk to an agent try this:

• Log into Support.Xbox.com
  
• Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
  
• A new window will pop up
  
• Type in contact Support - you will receive different options, such as:
  
  • Message with an Xbox Gamer
    
  • Call me back
    
  • Ask the Community

Here's how to change the password on your Microsoft account through a web browser.

1. Sign in using your Microsoft account email address and password.
   
2. On the Home page, under your profile photo and email address, select Change password.
   
3. You may be asked to verify that you are the account owner by receiving a security code via text or email and then entering it on the webpage.
   
4. Enter your current password.
5. Create a new password and then confirm it.
6. Select Save.

Once you've made the change, you'll receive a notification at your existing "security information" email address or phone number. This is a precaution in case someone else made the change. If that happens,
you can cancel the change by following the instructions provided in the notification.
